Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that fosters young children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will design age-appropriate lesson plans, guide hands-on learning activities, and build strong relationships with students and parents to prepare children for kindergarten.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Implement engaging, play-based lesson plans covering foundational literacy, basic math, arts, crafts, music, and motor skills development.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and structured classroom environment that encourages positive behavior, sharing, and cooperation among students.
- Student Assessment: Observe and track each child's developmental progress, identifying individual strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open, regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, daily activities, and behavioral milestones.
- Safety & Care: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including supervising indoor/outdoor play, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Event & Activity Planning: Co-ordinate class events, field trips, seasonal activities, and interactive group projects to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements
Category Requirement
Education Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field will be preferred.
Experience Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
Skills Exceptional patience, strong communication, creativity, active listening, and classroom leadership skills.
Clearance Must pass standard background checks and child abuse clearance protocols.
