Job Title: Indian Classical Music Teacher

Job Summary:
Swar Kala Sangam is seeking a passionate and skilled Indian Classical Music Teacher to train students in the rich traditions of Indian Classical Music. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hindustani Vocal Music and/or classical instruments such as sitar, harmonium or other traditional instruments. The teacher should be able to instruct students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and inspire them to appreciate and master the art form.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Training: Conduct regular classes in Indian Classical Music (vocal and/or instrumental) for students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Lesson Planning: Design and structure lesson plans based on student capabilities, ensuring a balance between theory and practical training.
- Performance Preparation: Guide students for performances, competitions, and exams, fostering stage confidence and artistic expression.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress through periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Music Theory & Raga Knowledge: Teach the fundamentals of ragas, talas, compositions, improvisation, and traditional music techniques.
- Cultural Education: Educate students about the history, evolution, and significance of Indian Classical Music.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
