We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing Intern to support our online marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing operations.
The intern will assist in managing company social media accounts, creating engaging content, and helping build our online presence across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, Manage and monitor company social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Create and schedule social media posts using approved content calendars
- Assist in designing basic creatives using Canva or similar tools
- Write captions, hashtags, and promotional content for social media platforms
- Respond to basic comments, messages, and customer inquiries under supervision
- Track engagement metrics and performance records
- Research suggestive industry trends, competitors, and content ideas
- Support digital marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Maintain consistency in promotional messaging across all platforms
- Assist with website content updates and basic SEO activities (preferred but not mandatory)
Essential Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and their features
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools
- Creativity and willingness to learn new marketing techniques
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts
- Understanding of social media analytics and insights
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools
- Basic photo or video editing skills
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing fundamentals
