Role description
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Techno-Functional Lead who can effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Cloud and analytics technologies, with strong hands-on experience across BICC, OTBI, OBI, OAC, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade Oracle solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Leadership
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead solution design discussions and provide strategic direction on Oracle Cloud analytics and integration architecture.
- Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Oracle Analytics & Reporting
- Design and develop reports and dashboards using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
- Build and maintain analytical solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI/OBIEE).
- Extract and manage large datasets using BICC (BI Cloud Connector) for downstream processing and reporting needs.
- Optimize existing reporting frameworks for performance, usability, and scalability.
Integration & Data Management
- Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Develop real-time and batch integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and data governance across systems.
- Troubleshoot integration and data flow issues efficiently.
Solution Design & Development
- Customize and extend Oracle applications based on client requirements.
- Participate in solution architecture, design reviews, and technical assessments.
- Develop technical specifications, functional design documents, and solution blueprints.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and IT teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for end users.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Oracle Cloud applications.
- Proven experience in a Techno-Functional Lead role.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with:
- BICC (BI Cloud Connector)
- OTBI
- OBI/OBIEE
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and data integration patterns.
- Functional Knowledge:
- Understanding of Oracle ERP/HCM/SCM modules (any domain expertise is a plus).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications (OAC, OIC, or ERP/HCM modules).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to data warehousing and advanced analytics use cases.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise implementations.
