Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and competent TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual knowledge of Mathematics, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students of Classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive, concept-based, and student-centric lessons.
- Develop students' logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and question papers.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide timely academic feedback.
- Monitor students' academic progress and implement remedial measures where necessary.
- Integrate technology, smart classroom tools, and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in school assemblies, examinations, parent-teacher meetings, co-curricular activities, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and academic excellence.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a major subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory).
- CTET Paper-II qualified (preferred; candidates with a valid CTET certificate will be given preference).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/recognized school is preferred.
- Exceptional fresh candidates with excellent academic records and strong teaching aptitude may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics and the CBSE curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts through practical and activity-based teaching.
- Proficiency in using smart boards, digital teaching tools, MS Office, and educational software.
- Ability to prepare competency-based questions and support students in achieving academic excellence.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
