Job Title: Field Service Engineer (FSE)

Job Overview
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for providing high-quality onsite and remote technical support to customers. The role includes troubleshooting, product configuration, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide onsite support for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar inverters and monitoring systems.

Deliver telephonic and email-based technical support to customers.

Perform PCB replacements and other hardware-level interventions as required.

Conduct remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve system performance issues.
Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with the regional sales team to provide technical consultation and support.

Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to address customer concerns.

Coordinate with the logistics team for product movement, replacements, and returns.

Collaborate with operations to validate and authorize release of parts required for service activities.
Documentation & Reporting

Manage and update monitoring and configuration databases for customer installations.

Ensure timely generation of detailed service reports for each site visit and upload them in the system.

Resolve service cases and maintain accurate documentation within the CRM.

Maintain adequate stock and records of spare parts and field inventory.
Requirements:
Job Requirements & Skills Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).

Minimum 3+ year of hands-on experience in field service, technical support, or related roles.

Experience with photovoltaic (PV) systems is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies

Strong customer orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in English & Hindi is required

Additional Requirements
