1. Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap.
2. Participating in the application lifecycle with particular focus on removing the bugs and improving the code.
3. Developing smooth and efficient code to develop effective web applications.
4. Removing the errors and bugs in the applications to make them better for the end-users.
5. Conducting User Interface tests for the purpose of maximizing performance.
6. Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyse bottlenecks.
7. Working alongside Front-end Developers for integrating the user aspects of the application with the logic on the server side.
8. Supporting and training the internal teams.
9. Developing reusable libraries and code for future use.
10. Should have knowledge on Cloud Applications.
11. In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL).
12. Keeping in contact with designers, developers and system administrators to look for new features.
Knowledge/Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong knowledge of web development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring MVC.
- Familiarity with IntelliJ or other IDE tools.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
