- Plan, organize, and supervise daily OT schedules.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all operation theatres.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff for case scheduling.
- Ensure availability of required instruments, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile protocols.
- Monitor infection control practices and OT discipline.
- Ensure patient identification, consent verification, and pre-operative checklists.
- Implement NABH guidelines related to OT practices.
- Supervise OT nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage manpower allocation.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of OT equipment.
- Maintain adequate stock of surgical instruments, drugs, and consumables.
- Maintain OT records, registers, and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of surgeries, sterilization logs, and checklists.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal standards.
- Act as a liaison between surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and administration.
- Coordinate emergency cases efficiently.
- Handle intra-departmental communication effectively.
- Monitor quality indicators such as OT utilization, infection rates, delays.
- Ensure readiness of OT for emergency surgeries at all times.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in OT Technician/D.Pharma/B.Pharma.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in OT, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Salary is negotiable for deserving Candidate
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
