We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Superintendent to lead and supervise the nursing department at Dr. Heal Pain Cure Hospital. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing administration, staff management, NABH compliance, and smooth day-to-day nursing operations across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all nursing services and nursing staff within the hospital.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and nursing practices.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor nursing activities to ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital guidelines.
- Prepare duty rosters, manage staffing schedules, and ensure adequate manpower availability.
- Conduct regular nursing audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Train, mentor, and guide nursing staff for clinical excellence and professional development.
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital management for effective patient care.
- Ensure proper maintenance of nursing records, medication charts, and documentation.
- Monitor infection control practices, patient safety measures, and quality indicators.
- Handle patient complaints, nursing escalations, and emergency situations effectively.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among nursing staff.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and appraisal of nursing personnel.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Organize CMEs, training programs, and nursing education activities regularly.
Qualification Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Karnataka Nursing Council registration.
- Additional certification in Hospital Administration or NABH accreditation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of nursing experience in a reputed hospital setup.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or nursing administration role preferred.
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals is highly preferred.
