About Us
Sea Shells Beach Resorts, operating under the brand Explore Lakshadweep, is currently the leading premium hospitality property in Lakshadweep. We are in an active growth phase — expanding across multiple islands as tourism in Lakshadweep rises rapidly. This is not a company at its peak. This is a company on its way up, and we are building the team that will take it there.
We are looking for one person to own operations across all our island properties — someone who understands hospitality at its core, makes decisions with confidence, and wants to grow with a brand rather than just work for one.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our resort operations across 4 islands. You will move between properties, conduct hands-on inspections, manage all departments, and work directly alongside the CEO and senior management. You will have real decision-making authority — not a desk job waiting for approvals.
This is a leadership position with full operational ownership.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across all Sea Shells resort properties spanning multiple islands in Lakshadweep
- Conducting regular on-site inspections and quality audits across all properties
- Managing and coordinating all departments — housekeeping, F&B, front office, maintenance, guest relations, and activities
- Working directly with the CEO on strategic decisions, expansions, and operational improvements
- Driving sales performance, handling B2B travel agent relationships, and supporting revenue targets
- Managing staff across islands — performance, training, accountability, and culture
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions on the ground
- Handling guest escalations, vendor relationships, and inter-island logistics
- Supporting new property launches and onboarding as the brand scales
What We're Looking For
- 3–6+ years in hospitality operations, preferably in resorts or island/remote properties
- Strong background in hotel or resort management — you understand how every department works and how they connect
- Experience in sales, travel trade, or B2B hospitality is a significant advantage
- Technically sound — comfortable with property management systems, reporting, and operational tools
- Someone who leads from the front, not from a spreadsheet
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills
- Ability to live and work on the islands full-time — this is not a remote or hybrid role
