Job Title: Lab Assistant
Experience Required: Approximately 2 Years
Qualification: Diploma or B.Sc. in Chemistry/ M.Sc. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
● Assist in preparation and testing of samples as per standard lab procedures.
● Maintain laboratory instruments, glassware, and chemical inventory.
● Conduct routine chemical and physical tests (e.g., viscosity, density, pH, tensile/flexural, adhesion).
● Record, organize, and maintain test data accurately in lab records.
● Support R&D or Quality Control teams in product development or batch testing.
● Ensure lab cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper waste disposal.
● Calibrate instruments and report any malfunctions or deviations.
● Handle raw materials and finished product testing as per company standards.
Skills Required:
● Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety norms.
● Experience with testing instruments like a viscometer, pH meter, balance, UTM machine, etc.
● Basic understanding of MS Office or digital lab recording.
