Job Summary
The Lab Technician will assist in conducting laboratory tests, collecting and processing samples, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Collect blood, urine, sputum, and other patient samples as per standard procedures.
* Label, process, and store specimens accurately.
* Perform routine laboratory tests as assigned.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory.
* Follow infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines.
* Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
* Assist doctors and senior lab staff in diagnostic procedures.
* Report abnormal findings or equipment issues to the concerned authority.
* Ensure timely delivery of test reports.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
