Key Responsibilities
Transportation
- Transport staff, clients, and guests to designated locations safely and on time.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company driving policies.
- Assist with material delivery and light errands as assigned.
Vehicle Management
· Drivers are responsible for conducting daily pre-trip inspections, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, lights, and overall vehicle cleanliness.
· Any damage, breakdown, or maintenance issue must be reported immediately to the Admin team.
· Drivers must maintain the vehicle logbook on a daily basis. At the end of each trip, the traveler’s signature must be obtained as confirmation.
· Vehicles must not be used for personal purposes without prior authorization from the management.
Driver Do’s and Don’ts
- Drivers must operate company-provided vehicles safely and responsibly, strictly following traffic rules and company policies.
- While driving, mobile phones must be kept on silent or airplane mode. No phone calls should be attended.
- Vehicles must always be maintained in good condition (cleanliness, servicing, inspection).
- Daily routine checks must be conducted, and any damage or maintenance issues must be reported immediately.
- All vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC, Driving License) must be valid and up to date.
- Drivers must maintain daily logbooks, trip details, and fuel records accurately.
- Assigned routes should be followed, and travel time should be utilized efficiently.
- Safety of goods and company property must be ensured at all times.
- Drivers should assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
- Safety guidelines and instructions from supervisors must be strictly followed.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned must be carried out properly.
- Travel must be planned in advance to avoid delays.
- Fuel usage must be monitored, and accurate records should be maintained.
- Vehicles must be driven in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.
- Smoking or consuming alcohol while driving is strictly prohibited.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times while driving.
- Goods/materials must be picked up and delivered on time as per the planned schedule.
Qualifications & Education
- 8th / 10th Standard minimum.
Valid LMV / Commercial Vehicle driving licence (mandatory).
