JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. QC Executive
Position: Sr. QC Executive
Education Criteria: Graduate / Post-Graduate – Textile Studies
Experience: Minimum 5+ years (Garments / Baby Products preferred).
Location: Vasai Phata, Vasai (E)
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and textile materials (organic cotton, bamboo, polyester, polyfill, etc.).
- Experience in garments / baby apparel / baby textile products.
- Understanding of quality documentation, product & process approach, and certification requirements.
- Should be Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Handle quality control at packing unit for garments and baby textile products received from manufacturers.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections as per approved samples and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test reports, and decisions accept and reject batches.
- Identify, analyze, and report quality defects, rejections, and non-compliances to Head Office.
- Perform rejection and defect analysis by supplier and defect category.
- Supervise and guide 2–3 quality inspectors at the packing/assembly unit.
- Ensure quality assurance during product development and throughout product lifecycle.
- Update inspection status, lot decisions, and rejection data in ERP (MS Dynamics 360).
- Implement and monitor QMS and sustainability certification requirements (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, etc.) at plant level.
