As a Digital Marketing Executive – SEO , you will be responsible for managing end-to-end SEO activities, driving organic growth, improving search visibility, and implementing data-driven optimization strategies. You will work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to execute SEO initiatives while also handling client communication and performance discussions when required. This role requires strong expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, search engine algorithms, and emerging AI-driven search optimization practices (AEO/GEO) .
Responsibilities
You will be working as a Digital Marketing Executive – SEO, responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies for assigned projects. You would be required to participate in SEO planning, client discussions, performance reviews, and optimization activities..
Your key Responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end SEO execution for assigned projects including strategy planning, implementation, optimization, and reporting.
- Developing and implementing SEO strategies across:
- Traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI Search Optimization
- Handling client communication when required and explaining SEO strategies, performance insights, and recommendations.
- Conducting detailed keyword research, search intent mapping, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis .
- Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues related to:
- Crawlability
- Indexing
- Website architecture
- Page speed optimization
- Structured data implementation
- Optimizing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements to improve search rankings and visibility.
- Working closely with content writers, developers, and designers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
- Monitoring SEO performance metrics and providing actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Staying updated with Google algorithm updates, AI/LLM search trends, and emerging SEO practices.
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and ensuring timely execution with measurable outcomes.
Required Skills
Primary Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors .
- Proven experience in handling technical SEO audits and resolving complex SEO issues.

Secondary Skills
- Experience working with content teams for SEO-focused content planning and optimization.
- Exposure to PPC / Paid Media campaigns is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Knowledge of SEO reporting dashboards and client reporting practices. Understanding of digital marketing funnels and lead-generation strategies.

Education
