Job Summary
Service Owner – Records & Information Management (RIM) and Governance Role Purpose The Service Owner – Records & Information Management is accountable for the strategy, governance, architecture alignment, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of enterprise records and information management capabilities. The role owns the roadmap for records management services, including OpenText Content Manager, records governance processes, and records migration initiatives. The Service Owner ensures enterprise information assets are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle, supporting regulatory, legal, compliance, and business requirements. Key Responsibilities • Define and maintain the Records and Information Management strategy, roadmap, and future-state capability model. • Own the lifecycle management and continuous improvement of enterprise records management services. • Provide strategic ownership for: o OpenText Content Manager o Enterprise records management capabilities o Information governance processes o Records lifecycle management • Lead and govern records migration initiatives, including: o Logical records migration o Physical records migration o Content classification and metadata mapping o Data quality validation and reconciliation • Establish governance practices for records retention, classification, access, disposition, and compliance. • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Business Information Owners, Enterprise Architecture, and Technology teams. • Define service standards, operational processes, KPIs, and maturity objectives. • Manage platform vendors, service providers, and technology lifecycle planning. • Evaluate improvements to records management capabilities and recommend technology enhancements. • Ensure records management services support audit, regulatory, and business requirements. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of experience in information management, records management, governance, or enterprise technology services. • Experience owning enterprise content management or records management platforms. • Experience with OpenText Content Manager or similar platforms. • Experience leading records migration and transformation programs. • Strong understanding of information governance, retention, and compliance practices. • Experience managing vendors and enterprise platforms. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
