The Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness, and overall aesthetic appeal of our establishment, directly contributing to a positive guest experience. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across all areas. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and capable of working independently while adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and public areas according to company standards and procedures.
- Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and floors, ensuring all fixtures are sparkling.
- Replenish guest room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and stationery, ensuring all items are well-stocked.
- Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and public restrooms, as assigned.
- Adhere strictly to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage laundry duties, which may include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, reporting stock levels and needs to management.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
