Site Supervisor – Plumbing
1. Site Execution
- Supervise installation of:
- CPVC/UPVC piping (open & concealed)
- Soil, waste, and vent lines
- Sanitary fixtures (WC, wash basins, urinals)
- Pumps and plumbing equipment
- Ensure work is done as per drawings and specifications
2. Measurement & Billing
- Take daily site measurements (pipes, fittings, fixtures)
- Maintain measurement sheets (MB)
- Verify contractor bills with actual work done
- Track quantities vs BOQ
3. Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Civil team (for wall chasing, core cutting)
- Electrical team (for pump connections)
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules
- Ensure material availability before execution
4. Quality Control
- Check:
- Proper slope in drainage lines
- Leak-proof joints
- सही alignment of fixtures
- Conduct:
- Hydro testing
- Leak testing
5. Safety Management
- Ensure workers follow site safety rules
- Prevent unsafe practices (like hammering instead of drilling)
- Use proper tools and PPE
6. Material Handling
- Check incoming materials:
- Pipes (CPVC/PVC)
- Valves, traps, fittings
- Avoid wastage and theft
- Maintain stock records
7. Documentation
- Maintain:
- Daily progress report (DPR)
- Labour attendance
- Work completion records
- Report delays or issues to project engineer
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Plumbing systems (water supply & drainage)
- Pipe sizes, slopes, fittings
- Ability to read:
- Drawings & layouts
- Basic calculation & measurement skills
- Problem-solving on site
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
