Job Summary
The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, supervising, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. The role ensures that all MEP works are executed according to project specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP installation activities on-site.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and work schedules.
- Inspect MEP installations to ensure quality standards and applicable codes are met.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues; provide timely solutions.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Review contractor bills, material usage, and project costs.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Attend project coordination meetings and communicate project updates.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of required materials and equipment.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹675,000.00 per year
