Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Concept Development
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for commercial spaces.
- Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and conceptual sketches.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and client guidelines.
2. Project Management
- Lead end-to-end interior design projects, from client brief to final execution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and MEP teams.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality.
3. Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, interior working drawings, joinery details, and BOQs.
- Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings.
- Ensure all technical documents meet accuracy, quality, and compliance requirements.
4. Client Liaison
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design workshops.
- Provide design guidance and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in commercial interior design and architectural detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office, and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and ergonomic standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture / Interior Architecture.
- 3-5 yrs of exp
- Proven track record of handling medium to large-scale corporate/commercial interior projects.
- Experience in design-build environments (optional but preferred).
