We are looking for a talented and motivated Programming Intern to join our team and assist in the development of AI models tailored to identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats.
**Job Summary:**
As a Programming Intern, you will work with our AI and information security teams to design, implement, and test machine learning models aimed at enhancing cybersecurity protocols. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about AI and security to gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects in a fast-evolving field.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Develop and Train AI Models:** Assist in the design, coding, and training of machine learning models focused on identifying anomalies, detecting threats, and improving data security.
- **Data Preprocessing and Management:** Work with large datasets to clean, preprocess, and prepare data for model training, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- **Algorithm Optimization:** Experiment with and optimize various machine learning algorithms to improve model performance and efficiency.
- **Testing and Validation:** Assist in testing, validating, and fine-tuning models to ensure high accuracy and robustness against potential security threats.
- **Documentation:** Document model architecture, data flow, and codebase as well as maintain comprehensive records of model results and improvements.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- **Programming Skills:** Proficiency in Python is essential; familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Pandas is preferred.
- **Knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms:** Understanding of basic machine learning and deep learning concepts, with experience in supervised, unsupervised, or reinforcement learning.
- **Familiarity with Information Security:** Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, network security, and encryption, is a plus.
- **Analytical Skills:** Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing model performance.
- **Communication Skills:** Ability to document work clearly and collaborate effectively with team members from various technical background
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Prior experience or coursework related to machine learning or information security.
- Exposure to big data tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is advantageous.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
