Objective of the Role The Admin cum Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office. The role involves managing front desk operations, handling communication, coordinating office administration, and supporting various administrative activities.Key ResponsibilityReception & Front Desk ManagementWelcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.Maintain the visitor register and issue visitor passes as required.Handle incoming and outgoing courier, postal mail, and deliveries.Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.Administrative SupportCoordinate daily office administrative activities.Maintain office records, files, and documents in both physical and digital formats.Monitor and replenish office stationery and pantry supplies.Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and service requirements.Assist in scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting arrangements.Support travel bookings, accommodation, and transport arrangements when required.Maintain asset registers and administrative records.Communication & CoordinationCoordinate with internal departments for administrative requirements.Assist HR with employee attendance records, onboarding formalities, and documentation, as required.Respond to general inquiries through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins.Ensure timely communication of office announcements and administrative updates.Office ManagementEnsure smooth day-to-day office operations.Coordinate housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.Report any office maintenance issues and follow up until resolution.Ensure compliance with office policies and administrative procedures.Required SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Professional telephone etiquette.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Good organizational and time management abilities.Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy.Problem-solving and coordination skills.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Ability to maintain confidentiality.QualificationBachelor's degree in any discipline.1–3 years of experience in Administration, Reception, or Front OfficeProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Knowledge of office administration procedures.
