Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for managing all store operations, including receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, delivery coordination, and documentation. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely material availability, and proper compliance with Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and inventory procedures.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure optimum inventory levels.
2. Goods Receiving & GRN Management
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and quality against Purchase Orders (PO).
- Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) accurately and promptly.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the concerned department.
- Ensure all received materials are properly recorded in the inventory system.
3. Material Issuance & Delivery Coordination
- Issue materials to departments based on authorized requests.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to internal and external customers.
- Maintain delivery records and obtain necessary acknowledgements.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for dispatch activities.
4. Stock Counting & Reporting
- Perform regular cycle counts and annual stock audits.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock status reports, and discrepancy reports.
- Provide accurate stock information to management when required.
5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain organized records of receipts, issues, returns, transfers, POs, and GRNs.
- Ensure all store transactions are properly documented and filed.
- Keep inventory software and manual records updated.
6. Store Housekeeping & Safety
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store area.
- Follow company policies and inventory control procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control.
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems, ERP, PO, and GRN processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
