Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics and transportation, with demonstrated knowledge of global freight.
- Experience obtaining and evaluating domestic and international freight quotes across multiple modes and service levels.
- Direct experience working with freight forwarders on international shipments (air or road freight).
- Familiarity with import/export documentation requirements, customs processes, and trade compliance basics.
- Proficiency in shipment tracking, carrier communication, and transportation exception management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work across international time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must be fluent in English; any additional language relevant to EMEA or APAC is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience registering and managing express shipments through online carrier portals (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship, DHL Online, or similar).
- Experience using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or similar TMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other case management systems.
- Knowledge of reverse logistics processes including RMAs and RTVs.
- Experience supporting multi-region logistics in a technology distribution or supply chain environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.

Requirements:
The Global Logistics Specialist I is a key member of the WWT Pre & Post Ship team, providing transportation support for both domestic and international shipments within and across WWT's EMEA and APAC regions. This individual is responsible for obtaining freight quotes, coordinating carrier pickups, routing inbound freight, tracking and tracing shipments, managing returns, and resolving transportation exceptions. The role serves as a critical link between internal teams, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely and compliant movement of freight across both regions.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions/Competencies
- Obtain and evaluate freight quotes for domestic, intra-regional, international, and white glove shipments across EMEA and APAC lanes.
- Route inbound shipments in coordination with freight forwarders and carriers, selecting the appropriate mode, service level, and lane.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and carrier booking confirmations.
- Monitor domestic and international shipments from carrier pickup through final delivery; proactively identify at-risk shipments and resolve delays, exceptions, address changes, re-routes, and POD requests.
- Respond to tracking and status inquiries via Salesforce case queues within established SLA windows; conduct tracer investigations for lost or delayed shipments.
- Arrange return shipments including RMAs and RTVs; manage pick-up requests, product transfers, and express carrier label processing.
- Register and manage express shipments through online carrier portals (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Online).
- Serve as a day-to-day liaison with freight forwarders and carriers; support carrier performance reviews and escalate service failures as needed.
- Ensure shipment documentation complies with import/export regulations; coordinate with trade compliance on customs requirements and hazardous material considerations.
- Support process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the global pre/post ship team.
