A Welder Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding metal components used in fire safety systems such as pipelines, structures, and equipment. The role requires strong technical skills, precision, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and layouts
- Cut, align, and fit metal parts (pipes, brackets, structures)
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Arc, or Gas welding techniques
- Assemble fire protection systems like pipelines, sprinkler systems, and supports
- Inspect weld quality and ensure it meets required standards
- Use tools like grinders, measuring instruments, and welding machines
- Maintain safety protocols and proper use of PPE
- Repair and maintain existing structures and systems
Welder fitters typically handle cutting, fitting, and welding metal components while ensuring proper alignment and quality standards
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong measurement and alignment skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Basic understanding of fire safety systems (preferred)
- Physical stamina and hands-on work ability
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
