Job Overview
We are looking for motivated and disciplined ITI Fitter freshers to join our team as Apprentices. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in water treatment plant operations and mechanical maintenance. You will work under the guidance of senior technicians to ensure the smooth functioning of plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Assistance: Assist in operating and monitoring water treatment plant systems and equipment.
- Maintenance Support: Help senior fitters in the routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair of pumps, motors, valves, and pipelines.
- Quality Checks: Learn to conduct basic water quality tests and ensure standards are met as per plant guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain daily log sheets and record operational data accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow plant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Tool Management: Learn to identify, use, and maintain various mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Must have completed ITI in Fitter trade (NCVT/SCVT).
- Experience: Fresher (2023, 2024, or 2025 batch preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical fittings, pipework, and plant machinery.
- Shift Work: Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (including night shifts).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods in an industrial environment.
