We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant & Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, billing, collections, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Google Sheets and Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily expense sheets with accuracy.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual bill payments within the due dates.
- Manage and maintain course fee sheets and financial records on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with auditors by providing the required documents and reports for GST and TDS compliance.
- Maintain accurate student fee collection records and reconciliation.
- Follow up with students through outbound calls regarding pending fee payments and ensure timely collections.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain purchase and sales invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory requirements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in Auditing and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF Functions, Data Validation, Charts, etc.).
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime is preferred.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance is preferred.
