Job Title: Planning Executive

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Location: Maheshtala, Kolkata
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and production priorities.
- Prepare production schedules considering machine capacity, manpower availability, material availability, and delivery commitments.
- Track pending production orders and follow up with concerned departments for timely completion.
- Update production plans based on changes in priorities, customer requirements, or shop-floor conditions.
- Check raw material and component availability against the production plan.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments regarding material requirements and shortages.
- Identify potential material shortages and communicate them to the concerned team in advance.
- Follow up on pending materials to avoid production interruptions.
- Assist in maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor daily production activities and collect production data from the shop floor.
- Maintain accurate data in MS Excel.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to the Planning Head.
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of Production Planning & Control (PPC) concepts.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel including basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
- Understanding of material planning and inventory control.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under production and delivery deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining data.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
