Role description
1.
Initiate and drive new research projects/feasibility studies
2. Understanding of iron ore/Coal beneficiation plant operation
3. Knowledge and experience in Fine particle processing/Dewatering/Tailings beneficiation
4. Experience of improving plant performance through systematic plant audits and trials
5. Understanding of R&D projects and develop plan/proposal for scaleup or implementation
6. Development of business case and feasibility study for research projects in discussion with all its stake holders/technical documentation
7. Plan and execute plant trials based on findings obtained from R&D project
8. Flow sheet development, data generation, mass and energy balance calculations at different stages of project prior to implementation at plant
9. Collaborate and work with suitable academic/industrial partners to accelerate the pace of innovative projects
10. Develop state of the art new facilities in the specific area in which prior experience available.
11. Basic knowledge of iron making/pelletization and sintering process
12. Knowledge of modeling/simulation would be an advantage
