Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Director to lead the adoption and expansion of our cutting-edge IoT solutions across diverse customer segments.
This role requires strategic leadership in driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales channels, and establishing strong market presence.
You will oversee sales operations, develop go-to-market strategies, and foster key partnerships to accelerate business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and consistent target achievement.
Identify, onboard, and scale retail counters, distributors, and channel partners across the territory.
Drive product availability, visibility, and in-store branding across all partner locations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
Oversee sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking
. Lead high-value negotiations, close strategic deals, and drive large-scale partnerships. Collaborate with marketing teams on co-marketing initiatives, campaigns, and brand-building activities.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and growth plans to senior leadership.
Qualifications: 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams. Experience in consumer electronics, IoT devices, or consumer durables preferred. Strong understanding of channel sales, distribution networks, and market expansion strategies. Fluency in English and the regional language is essential. Proficiency in Google Suite & MS Office tools. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Willingness to travel for business development and client engagement. In-depth knowledge of the Chennai/Pondicherry business landscape
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
