JOB DESCRIPTION OF AN ACCOUNTANT

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports; analyze trends, provide insights, and report on financial performance.
Compliance & Auditing: Ensure records comply with local/international laws and GAAP; manage tax preparation, filing, and audits; review business records for accuracy.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop operational budgets, monitor adherence, and forecast financial needs to meet business goals.
Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, process payroll, and manage general ledger entries.
Strategic Advice: Consult management on financial strategy, recommend cost-saving measures, identify revenue opportunities, and guide investments.

Recording daily financial transactions.
Reconciling bank statements and accounts.
Processing invoices and payments.
Reviewing contracts.
Managing cash flow.
Updating tax records.

Typical Frequency
Daily: Record transactions, monitor cash flow, respond to inquiries.
Weekly: Process payroll, review invoices, preliminary reports.
Monthly/Quarterly/Annually: Compile statements, review budgets, close books, prepare/file taxes, conduct audits.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
