Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for complete daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality guest experience, smooth service flow, staff performance, and profitability of the outlet.
Key Responsibilities Restaurant Manager
- Manage full front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Ensure smooth service during lunch, dinner, and peak hours
- Maintain restaurant standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise service staff (captains, waiters, hosts)
- Prepare duty rosters and manage shift planning
- Motivate team for high performance and discipline
Guest Experience
- Ensure premium guest service experience
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain VIP guest relations and repeat customer satisfaction
Sales & Profitability
- Monitor daily sales, revenue, and cost control
- Reduce wastage and control operational expenses
- Support promotions and upselling strategies
Inventory & Control
- Manage stock, bar inventory, and supplier coordination
- Ensure proper ordering and zero stock leakage
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards
Reporting
- Daily/weekly sales reports
- Staff performance tracking
- Feedback reporting to Operations Manager / Owner
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years experience in restaurant / café / fine dining operations
- Strong leadership & team handling skills
- Knowledge of POS systems (Petpooja, etc.)
- Good communication (English + Hindi)
- Guest handling & problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of F&B service standards
Working Conditions
- 10–12 hours shifts
