Job Description
Dhiraj Kapoor Associates is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect with 2–5 years of professional experience, including interior design exposure. The role involves working on architectural and interior projects from concept to execution, with active involvement in design development and site coordination.
Candidates must be ready to relocate to Varanasi and work from the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural and interior design concepts, layouts, and design proposals
- Prepare working drawings, detailed drawings, and execution drawings
- Design interior layouts, furniture details, finishes, and material palettes
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP), vendors, and contractors
- Conduct site visits, monitor execution, and resolve on-site design issues
- Assist in client meetings and presentations
- Prepare basic BOQs, material specifications, and drawing revisions
- Ensure designs comply with local building by-laws and standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and basic 3D visualization tools
- Understanding of interior materials, finishes, and detailing
- Knowledge of construction techniques and site practices
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to relocate to Varanasi and work from the office
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
- Knowledge of Lumion / V-Ray / Enscape / Photoshop
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Sensitivity toward contextual and heritage-responsive design
