Brief: As Content Strategist, you will own the content engine – what Scrubsy says, where it says, and why. You will directly report to the CMO and turn product truths into content that educates, entertains, and converts across organic and paid channels. You will think at the strategy level – defining content pillars, building content calendars, and ensuring every piece of content serves a clear business purpose – while also being hands-on enough to write, brief, and review content across formats and channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the monthly content calendar across formats: scripts, hooks, captions, blogs, email copy, and WhatsApp flows
- Write creative briefs grounded in performance data and brand positioning
- Develop messaging frameworks for each product
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scripts translates into high-performing video and static creative
- Identify and test new content angles using competitor analysis, Amazon reviews, and trending formats
- Own the content-to-performance feedback loop – track which messages drive purchases, not just engagement
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory Requirement
- 3 to 6 years of experience in content strategy
- Exceptional written communication (English and Hindi/Hinglish)
- Experience writing for video-first formats (Reels, YouTube Shorts, ad scripts)
- Strong copywriting or storytelling skills with attention to brand tone and positioning
- Experience building or managing content calendar across multiple formats and channels
Additional Requirement
- Prior experience in D2C, consumer brands, e-commerce or startup
- Experience working with AI-assisted content workflows/tools is a plus
- Comfortable working with data: can read a Meta dashboard and translate CPP/ROAS into content decisions
