Store Manager – Retail Operations

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹90,000 per month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Store Manager to lead day-to-day retail operations, drive sales performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational excellence, and a proven track record of managing retail teams and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment planning.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and store compliance procedures.
- Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate store staff.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve issues professionally.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in retail store management.
- Proven experience managing store operations and teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in inventory management, sales planning, and staff supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic retail management systems.
- Graduate degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a team of 5–20 employees.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, customer service, and sales performance metrics.
- Experience in apparel, lifestyle, electronics, furniture, grocery, or consumer retail sectors.
