We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Executive for our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing raw material, accessories, finished goods, and stock movement within the factory. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with production and purchase teams, and ensuring smooth material flow to avoid production delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily stock records of fabric, trims, accessories, packing materials, and finished garments.
- Monitor inward and outward material movement in the store.
- Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock issue slips, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with production, cutting, stitching, finishing, and purchase departments for material requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of inventory items.
- Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained for smooth production operations.
- Track fabric consumption and wastage records.
- Handle inventory entries in ERP/software or Excel sheets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) practices in stock handling.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters for material dispatch and receipt when required.
- Ensure store cleanliness and proper inventory organization.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of garment factory inventory management.
- Basic understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software/ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in garment factory/store inventory management preferred.
