GeM Portal Operations
▸ Navigate the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal to identify relevant tenders, L1 opportunities, and direct purchase orders.
▸ Manage product catalogue listings — creation, updates, pricing revisions, and compliance with GeM specifications.
▸ Participate in bid submissions and reverse auctions, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
Tender Preparation & Bid Management
▸ Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and financial bids in response to government/PSU tenders.
▸ Manage pre-bid documentation including Earnest Money Deposits (EMD), Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG), and other statutory requirements.
▸ Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure bid responses meet all client specifications and compliance criteria.
▸ Track tender timelines, submission deadlines, and maintain a well-organised tender tracker.
Sales & Business Development Support
▸ Send quotations to prospective and existing clients in response to enquiries.
▸ Follow up proactively on pending quotations to convert leads into confirmed orders.
▸ Coordinate with the field sales team to provide commercial support for ongoing business opportunities.
▸ Maintain up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, and order status in CRM/internal systems.
Compliance & Documentation
▸ Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in full compliance with GeM guidelines, tender terms, and company policies.
▸ Maintain systematic records of all contracts, purchase orders, correspondence, invoices, and payment receipts.
▸ Prepare periodic MIS reports on order pipeline, billing status, and outstanding receivables for management review.
