Job Description – Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Utilities)
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance(4-8years experience)
- Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utility equipment including DG, Chiller, Compressor, Boiler, ETP, WTP, HVAC, Fire System, UPS, LT/HT Panels, and Transformers.
- Conduct routine inspections and prepare weekly maintenance schedules to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and utility equipment to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Stores, HR, and Administration departments for maintenance activities.
- Supervise maintenance and electrical teams and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Manage vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and coordinate AMC/service activities.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records and update the Vendor Escalation Matrix.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
