Job Summary:
The PCR Executive in the media industry is responsible for managing and coordinating news bulletins, debate shows, and live transmissions. This role requires strong organizational skills, media handling experience, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing live broadcasts, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to content quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute news bulletins, debates, and live shows efficiently.
Monitor live feeds, manage timing, and ensure seamless transitions between segments.
Liaise with reporters, anchors, and production staff to ensure all content is ready and accurate.
Oversee the technical setup for live transmissions and troubleshoot any issues promptly.
Maintain the schedule for news programs, debates, and special broadcasts.
Ensure all content complies with editorial standards and broadcasting regulations.
Assist in content research, fact-checking, and script preparation for news bulletins and debates.
Manage on-air personalities, guests, and panelists during live or recorded segments.
Supervise the recording, editing, and transmission of program content.
Keep abreast of current events and ensure timely coverage.
Collaborate with the production team to enhance viewer engagement and program quality.
Maintain high standards of professionalism and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Mass Communication, or related field.
Proven experience in broadcast media, newsroom operations, or production management.
Strong understanding of live broadcast procedures and technical equipment.
Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle live situations confidently.
Knowledge of media regulations and ethical standards.
Proficiency in media management software and broadcasting tools is a plus.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
