Vedavyasa College of Arts and Science invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professionals for the position of Institutional Development & Corporate Relations.
The position will provide strategic leadership in institutional development, accreditation, statutory compliance, corporate partnerships, training & placement, marketing, admissions, and industry engagement to strengthen the institution's academic excellence and visibility.
Pillar 1 — Statutory Affiliation, Accreditation & Compliance
· Manage University of Calicut affiliation and AICTE approval / affiliation processes, wherever applicable, including periodic inspections, extension of approval / renewal, statutory compliance, preparation and submission of required documents, and liaison with the University, AICTE, and other competent authorities.
· Coordinate with the Government of Kerala (Directorate of Collegiate / Higher Education) for NOCs, scholarships, and regulatory updates.
· Lead NAAC accreditation and verification — SSR preparation, DVV clarifications, peer-team visit coordination, and IQAC/AQAR records.
· Lead applications for additional / new courses and university sanction for new programs.
· Prepare, finalize, and monitor the University of Calicut academic calendar by consolidating common institutional activities and department-level events, including internal assessment schedules, examinations, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and national / local holidays, and ensure timely circulation to stakeholders, display on notice boards, and upload on the college website.
· Proactively identify, write, coordinate, and apply for relevant schemes, grants, scholarships, and funding opportunities announced by AICTE, UGC, State Government departments, and other statutory / funding agencies, whenever and wherever applicable to the institution, its departments, staff, or students; maintain complete records of proposals submitted, communications received, sanctions obtained, utilization details, and outcomes for IQAC, NAAC, audit, and institutional reporting purposes.
· Coordinate dissemination of information to eligible students and departments regarding AICTE scholarship and development opportunities, including official scholarship and student-development portals, and ensure timely institutional verification / follow-up wherever required.
Pillar 2 — Training & Placement
· Act as the single point of contact for corporate recruiters and HR teams.
· Bring companies on campus and organize recruitment drives, job fairs, and internships.
· Conduct training-need analysis and arrange soft-skills, aptitude, and readiness programs.
· Maintain student placement databases and generate placement statistics and reports.
· Facilitate and coordinate MoUs with industries, recruiters, and skill-training partners.
Pillar 3 — Industry Engagement & Industrial Visits
· Plan and execute industrial visits, expert talks, live projects, and industry collaboration initiatives.
· Build and sustain a long-term alumni and employer engagement network.
· Coordinate with departments for outcome-based documentation of industrial exposure activities for academic and accreditation purposes.
Pillar 4 — Marketing & Brand Building
· Plan and run year-long marketing and admissions activities, including admissions campaigns, social media outreach, roadshows, school visits, and press/publicity coordination.
· Strengthen the college's brand value through rankings, accreditation visibility, partnership announcements, outreach programmes, and institutional publicity.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to improve institutional visibility and stakeholder engagement
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
