Job Title : QC Welding Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QC Welding Engineer for our ASME Shop to handle welding quality inspections, documentation, stage-wise inspections, WPS/PQR verification, and quality control activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and industrial fabrication projects.
Requirements:
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years experience in QC Welding / Fabrication Industry
- Knowledge of welding standards, NDT, and fabrication processes
- Experience in pressure vessels / heat exchangers preferred
- Strong documentation and inspection skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding quality inspections and monitor fabrication activities
- Ensure welding procedures comply with quality standards and client requirements
- Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records
- Coordinate NDT inspections and maintain QC documentation
- Handle stage-wise inspection reports and final quality clearance
- Work closely with production and design teams
