Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied to meet project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive testing plans to ensure product quality.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align testing objectives with project requirements.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault Testing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Veeva CRM testing.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and software testing life cycle.
- Ability to design and implement test strategies that align with business and technical requirements.
- Experience in managing defect tracking and resolution processes effectively.
- Familiarity with automation tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Veeva Vault Testing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
