About Us
We are looking for a Service Trainee to join our technical service team. The candidate will work under experienced technicians and gain practical knowledge in the installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in servicing and maintenance of diesel generators.
- Learn and perform preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist in oil, filter, coolant, battery, belt, and other component replacements.
- Support troubleshooting of diesel engines and DG sets.
- Assist in checking control panels, batteries, wiring, and electrical components.
- Attend customer sites for installation, servicing, and breakdown support.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas properly.
- Record service and maintenance activities.
- Follow company and site safety procedures.
- Develop practical knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, and DG control systems.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or a relevant field.
- Freshers can apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn technical skills.
- Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.
