Job Summary
The Laser Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to production drawings and specifications. The role includes machine setup, quality inspection, routine maintenance, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production schedules.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely.
- Adjust machine parameters such as speed, power, and cutting settings for different materials.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure accurate cutting quality.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Minimize material waste and optimize machine productivity.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Keep the work area clean and organized (5S).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of CNC laser cutting operations and machine setup.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
