PHP / WordPress / Shopify Developer
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong developer who is willing to learn, work fast, and take ownership of projects. The candidate should be comfortable working on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and custom PHP development tasks.
Prior experience with WordPress at PHP code level is important. Shopify knowledge is preferred.
Required Skills
- PHP basics and core development understanding
- WordPress and WooCommerce development, Shopify
- HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery
- Database concepts and MS SQL/MySQL knowledge
- WordPress hooks, plugin customization, and theme customization
- Experience in custom WordPress plugin development
- Ability to modify existing plugins and develop/update PHP functionalities
- Experience with REST APIs / Web Services / WooCommerce APIs
- Shopify theme customization and basic Shopify app/plugin customization
- Understanding of ecommerce websites and custom web systems
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up development and solve problems efficiently
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Work on WooCommerce and ecommerce websites
- Customize Shopify themes and functionalities
- Coordinate with team members for product uploads and project tasks
- Communicate updates and changes with clients
- Ready to learn and work on new technologies when required
- Opportunity to work on Magento and Shopify customization projects as well
