Key roles and responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Oversee GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings (where applicable).
Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Review and approve journal entries and financial transactions.
Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and
operational efficiency.
Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or NetSuite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of taxation, auditing, and statutory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
MBA (Finance) preferred.
8–12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with leadership experience.
