JOB OVERVIEW
Sapaad is looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Android applications across a wide range of devices, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with backend services.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on experience in Android development and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have a solid understanding of mobile architecture, best coding practices, and user experience principles
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Translate designs and wireframes into clean, high-quality, and scalable code

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define, design, and deliver new features

Integrate applications with external data sources and RESTful APIs\

Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions

Maintain code quality, organization, documentation, and automation standards

Write unit tests to ensure robustness, covering edge cases, usability, and reliability

Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency
SKILL & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

3–5 years of hands-on Android development experience

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI principles, and best practices

Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries

Familiarity with payment integrations (e.g., Stripe)

Understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance optimization
-
Knowledge of modern mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM)

Proficient with version control tools such as Git

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
