R K Engineering Works, an ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certified manufacturer of lifts, cranes, hoists and elevators, is hiring Service & Repair Technicians for breakdown attendance, preventive maintenance and repair of rack and pinion type elevators / construction hoists (builder's hoists) at project and construction sites across India.
Key responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance as per checklist (rack & pinion greasing, roller guides, brake, safety devices)
- Breakdown diagnosis and repair of pinion, gearbox, motor, brake and cage
- Rack and pinion backlash / wear check and replacement of worn parts
- Safety device testing (overspeed governor, limit switches, gate interlocks, buffer)
- Maintenance logbook and service report to client
Requirements:
- ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Mechanic) or Diploma
- 1 to 4 years in rack & pinion hoist / lift / elevator service (ITI freshers may apply as helper-technician)
- Comfortable with working at height, willing to travel
- Basic electrical and mechanical fault-finding
Base location: Jaipur (VKI Area) with pan-India service deployment.
