Company Description Studio 7 Film Productions is a full-service production house founded in 2017 in Ranchi by filmmaker and photographer Ankush Kasera. The studio specializes in documentary films, ad films, commercial photography, content creation, graphic design, and wedding, pre-wedding, and event photography and videography. The team has collaborated with leading global brands and organizations, including National Geographic, Discovery, Incredible India, HBO, and various government tourism bodies, as well as local and pan-India commercial clients. In addition to media production, Studio 7 provides interior decoration services such as interior art, curated frames, and art curation for premium spaces. A young and skilled team of editors, designers, photographers, and cinematographers focuses on crafting authentic, visually rich travel films and compelling visual stories.
Role Description The Videographer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for documentary projects, ad films, commercial campaigns, weddings, events, and travel films. Daily responsibilities include operating cameras and related gear, setting up and adjusting lighting, capturing audio and video footage, and collaborating with directors, photographers, and editors to ensure a unified visual style. The role also involves organizing and managing footage, coordinating with clients and team members on shoot requirements, and maintaining equipment in optimal working condition. The Videographer will contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling, visual composition, and overall production value.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and basic post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in camera operation and handling various camera systems and accessories.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor, outdoor, and studio environments.
- Experience shooting video in diverse formats, including documentary, commercial, event, and wedding videography.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and basic color correction is beneficial.
- Ability to frame shots creatively, follow storyboards, and adapt to different visual styles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and capacity to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or visual communication is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Availability to work on-site in Ranchi and travel for shoots when required.
