Job Summary
Catalyst Education is looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents, drive course admissions, and achieve monthly enrollment targets. Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career options, and educational programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and face-to-face counselling.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and parents.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Handle objections and negotiate effectively to close admissions.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in CRM.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Support and guide junior Academic Counsellors.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Academic, and Operations teams.
- Participate in seminars, career guidance programs, and promotional activities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in EdTech / Academic Counselling / Inside Sales / Education Sales.
- Proven track record in achieving admission or sales targets.
- Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills.
- Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Good knowledge of CRM and lead-management systems.
- Strong follow-up and customer-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Immediate joiners and candidates with strong EdTech experience preferred.
